How adorable are these pillows? I would love some for my daughter’s bed (which is now a big girl bed because of her recently learned crib dismount). If you want to buy them straight from the Pottery Barn catalog, be prepared to drop $39.00 a pillow. On the other hand, if you make the choice to get out your scissors and sewing machine, you only going to have to put up $5.00. I say it’s worth it!

Let’s face it, we all crave a space that looks fantastic, but our funds don’t always allow us to head out and buy all the pieces we see on the cover of magazines.
Well, don’t dismay, we’ve got solutions for your decorating needs. After I started designing on a budget, my whole outlook has changed. I just don’t know if I’ll ever be able to bring myself for a brand new piece of furniture made to look old when I can buy a fantastic old piece and make it look fabulous with a little elbow grease and perhaps some paint. Some of my very favorite that I own were found at a thrift store or bought on an online site like craigslist.
We’ll show you our projects and highlight the projects of other budget concious designers. We would love to hear from you. Send your pics and projects, and we just may highlight YOU!
